Cheddar & Chive Biscuits - BLT Fish
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups AP Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Poweder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 6 tablespoons Butter ( or 3 Butter/3 Shortening)
- 1 tablespoons Chopped Chives
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar
- 1 1/4 cups Cream
Procedure:
- Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and cayenne.
- Cut the butter into the flour mix. Do not overwork!
- Leave the butter in small pieces.
- Toss in chives and cheese.
- Toss in cream, just until mixture comes together. Do not over mix.
- Bake at 375° F for 15-17 minutes.
BLT served theirs with sea-salt butter and honey. Amazing.
