You feature hard boiled eggs a lot in your blog - can you show an easy, fool proof way to make them?

As to not begin an essay on hard boiled eggs, I will attempt a short answer:
- Place eggs in the smallest pan they will fit in and cover with water; bring to a boil.
- Let boil for 5* minutes. Turn off the heat and let the eggs set in the hot water for three more minutes.
- Rinse with lukewarm water until cool enough to handle.
- Peel!
I like to either use them when they are still quite warm or make an entire carton and keep them in my fridge for a quick (and mobile) breakfast option. If you are keeping them for later, don’t peel them until you are ready to use them. I have found that this timing works really well and you don’t get that layer of gray color around the yolk. That is a sure sign of overcooked eggs.
*3 minutes for soft boiled.
